How Affiliate Links Work
- This site is a participant in affiliate programmes, the Amazon Associates Program among them. Where a link is an affiliate link, a purchase made through it may earn Countlane a commission paid by the retailer — never by you. Your price is unaffected.
- The links in question go to the products we write about, in line with what we publish.
Countlane is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, Countlane earns from qualifying purchases.
Where We Draw the Line
Affiliate revenue is kept out of editorial decisions. We do not sell placements, we do not sort recommendations by payout, and criticism is not withheld because a product happens to be monetised. Where an assessment is based on research rather than testing, that is stated.
The disclosure above is required by the Federal Trade Commission’s rules on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and is given in that spirit — plainly, and before you click.
