Rights Under Applicable Law
You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, get a copy in portable form, and opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Several states additionally grant a right to appeal if we decline. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights — no price difference, no degraded access.
Sharing for Advertising
Nothing is sold for cash. Where advertising appears on countlane.com, advertising identifiers may nonetheless be shared with partners, and the statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are broad enough to cover that arrangement. You may opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share the data of minors under 16.
How to Exercise
Write to hello@countlane.com describing your request. Opt-outs can also be exercised without writing at all, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser — we act on that signal automatically. Requests are verified via the email address used, handled within statutory deadlines, and may be submitted by an authorised agent holding your written permission.
